Check out this guy [link] his work is brilliant. Maybe you could do some stuff like his on your new super Nikon I believe it has an HDR option.

I like his work and I will defiantly check into some stuff like his. If my camera does not have an HDR option (I haven't read all of the manual yet) I always have GIMP.
